Jezabella plays Stellar Sweeper on Pogo
Follow along with me as I play a game of Stellar Sweeper, explaining why I click where I do.

like to start near the middle of an edge; I think it gives me more useful information than starting in a corner, or out in the middle of the board. Sometimes I start at the bottom edge, sometimes the left or right edge.  I started at the top edge this game.

I got a 1 showing, so I will click the square below it.
Ouch! Beware exploding crystals!  But that's information.  So I double click on the 1.
I get to see a few more numbers.
I double click on a 1 that was exposed to see what else is nearby.
That opens it up a lot.  I like that, but I'm not finished at the top.

The 2s tell me there is another crystal in one of the spaces by the 2s, but since it has to be one of the top 2 spaces, I know the square under the 2s and the square to its right are both clear. Click, click.
See, you  didn't have to cover your ears.  No explosions.
When I left-clicked on the left 2, a grid appeared, showing spaces and crystals touching the number I clicked on. The space marked by the arrow is a crystal, and the exploded crystal makes two, so the other two  grid squares are clear. Click, click.
Doing the grid thing on the 3, I see two of the crystals touching the  3 are in the righthand 3 grid squares.  This tells me that the square marked by the arrow, AND the 2 squares right below it are clear.  Click,  click, click.
Since we are looking for a crystal to the left of the vertical line of ones, (one of these two, I say to myself, looking at the left two, and not these three, looking at the right ones) I click the 3 squares to  the right of the ones I just cleared.  Click, click, click.
Since the top 1 has a known crystal to the left of it, the square above it is clear, as is the square to that one's right.  Click, click.
Here's 1 - 1 at an edge.  The crystal has to be one of the first 2 squares from the edge, and not the third.  So we click the square marked  by the large arrow and clear it.
Then looking at the square on the left corner, (marked with a little  arrow) knowing it is a crystal, and looking at the square sticking out in the corner below it, (marked by another little arrow) and knowing THAT is a crystal, I say, "If this one is a crystal, then then other 3 squares touching the 1 are clear." Click, click, click.
How did I deduce there was a clear space under my arrow? I looked at the known crystal (marked by a little arrow in the previous illo) and said, it's this one, one of these two ("these two" being the squares below the two 2s) and this one (square below the 3), so it can't be this  one (marked by arrow) Click.
Which squares do you spot as crystals?  Which squares are you sure are clear?
